Use the safe zone
for everything critical
Viewing Zone
When we look at the overlap between standing and seated viewing positions from a comfortable viewing distance we can see the common viewing zone is approximately 1500mm.
Safe Zone
When we move in to a more common reading distance the safe zone restricts to around 1100mm.
Anything below 900mm – the knee – is rarely suitable for important wayfinding information.
