Wayfinding Design – Design Development
The scheme roll out
Comprehensive design of all sign types, variants and content
Comprehensive Design
The selected scheme is refined into a comprehensive design. The design is deployed across all unique instances in the program. Visuals of signs are provided rendered into photographs or elevations. This way we check for fit, mounting, lighting, power and clash. Designs are provided as pdfs for review and refinement. Sample materials are presented where necessary for sign-off. Signs are drawn to scale with dimensions and accurate content for client review and approval. Numbers and locations of every sign is quantified with graphics, materials, finishes and fixings specified.
Discussions regarding operational requirements are undertaken and results included for finalising text.
Accessibility and fire regulation compliance is undertaken on the final design.
Tender Documentation
Additional specification details are added to the DD pack, options outlined for accurate tenderer costings.
RFI, liaise with manufacturers and construction company.
Each sign type is collated onto sheets to make for the most efficient drawings for Bill of Quantities, tender and manufacturing. Files are delivered either direct to the architect or uploaded to the project management system.
