Wayfinding Design – Content Plans
Content in context
Large detailed plans,
presented like a street directory
for the team to read, print and mark up.
Wayfinding Content plans
We detail basic wayfinding such as directories, connectors and destinations overlaid with branding, advertising, information, operational, regulatory signs and graphic installations. Features such as areas for group assembly, landmarks for orientation and operational signs are identified.
Sign types and content are located on the plan. Our code system uses the architectural drawings area codes to identify and locate the signs.
Review
These massive plans are presented in friendly A3 documents laid out like a street directory. This way they can be reviewed on screen or printed in any office for team and stakeholder collaboration.
We strive to make it easy for the architect, project manager, building surveyor and client to view and markup our documentation. This is key to securing approvals and having concise markups.
We genuinely encourage eyes on.
Performance Audit
An audit to obtain full content and sign type specifications is conducted. This covers site specific issues such as;
General details – purpose, location, word content, image content, quantity, life span, visibility etc.
Sign types – static, powered, illuminated, animated, permanent, de-mountable, temporary,
Locations – inside, outside, natural light, shaded, mounting, footing substrate, lighting, power support structures, and
Protection – graffiti/vandalism, fading, weather proofing.
